Abstract

ABSTRACTThe multiwall carbon nanotubes/fluorosilicone rubber composites (S-x composites) are prepared by a solution-coagulation method. Compared with the composites (D-x composites) fabricated by the traditional direct mechanical mixing method, S-x composites show the obvious enhanced electric and dielectric performances. The percolation thresholds are estimated to be 1.39 vol% for D-x composites and 0.74 vol% for S-x composites, respectively. S-1.1 composite exhibits high dielectric permittivity (2120) at 1 kHz, which is about 50 times higher than that of D-1.1 composite. Furthermore, the mechanism of the S-x composites with outstanding dielectric properties is investigated.
