Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic has been a significant public health challenge globally and has intensified the use of indoor service robots. The need to assist in disinfecting surfaces autonomously has led to the development of the LISA robot. This indoor assistant robot can navigate by following black lines embedded in floors using multiple IR sensors. The robot can also be controlled manually through Bluetooth connection and drive in any desired direction with the aid of independently operated Mecanum wheels.
