Abstract
A simple and inexpensive portable digital photometer system for the 350-1000 nm band has been developed. The TTL level digital output from its unique photon transducer has been calibrated with different sources for measurements in absolute units of W m-2. At constant irradiance of 10 W m-2, the relative standard deviation was found to be better than 0.14% of the mean.
