Abstract

No comprehensive diary is available to assess the severity and impact of asthma symptoms for self-completion by children aged 6-11 years. We developed a novel electronic pediatric asthma symptom diary (ePASD) administered via an animated digital application with visuals, sounds, and written and audible text to facilitate self-report by young children with asthma with varying reading levels.
