Abstract

Aqueous rechargeable Li-ion batteries have evolved as a sphere of concentrated investigation due to their properties and economic benefits. Among all existing systems of aqueous batteries, Zn||LiFePO4 hybrid cells have gained much attention, but are hindered by dendrite growth. 3-dimensional structure could be a promising solution to address the above-mentioned problem. In the given study we report a successful development of 3D-structured anode with a gel-like composite polymer separator.
