Development of a Mobile Overpass Used in the Repair of Urban Utility Networks

Abstract

The research is related to the development of a new type of transport equipment – a communal mobile overpass. The overpass is modular and designed for the passage of vehicles along it and is used to eliminate traffic jams on city roads and during the repair of underground utility networks, by installing it over the repair trench. The idea of using an overpass is to eliminate traffic congestion, improve the ecological state of cities, transport logistics, by developing and researching the design of the overpass. The purpose of the study is to substantiate and study the design of the mobile overpass. The set goal is achieved by solving the problems of calculating the structural elements of the overpass for the passage of vehicles, studying the interaction of supports with a soil base. The results of theoretical and applied research provide the scientific and engineering basis for the creation of mobile overpasses as a new type of transport equipment
