Abstract

The paper discusses the practical usage of the author's method of managing large-scale changes on the example of projects for the creation or re-engineering of Project Management Offices in three IT companies in 2009, 2015 and 2021. In those transformations of project management, the organization of the structural unit and its business functions and the implementation of several process areas of project management have been done. The paper provides a detailed description of the method used in those transformations, considers the stages and iterations of the transformations, analyzes the typical risks, the results achieved and deviations from the proposed method. The proposed method can be recommended for practical application in companies from the branches of the "new economy".
