Abstract
Phased array feed is a small two-dimension phased array located at the focal plane of a reflector antenna and acts as the feed, which can offer the capability for multiple simultaneous beam formation and wide field-of-view. This paper presents the development of a phased array feed at Ku-band, including the design, optimization, and prototyping. The test results of the prototype are given, which match the simulation reasonably well, validating a successful development and effective way of calibration.
