Abstract
The simplest way to determine the 3-D distribution of the spherical second phase is to measure the 2-D diametric distribution of the second phase from the microstructure and apply some statistical method. In the present paper a finite difference method (FDM) based mathematical model has been discussed and is substantiated with experimental result.
