Abstract
Because of the great impact of most phytosanitary eradication campaigns, there is a need for reproducible quantified analyses of costs and benefits of these campaigns. The Plant Protection Service (PD) together with the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (LEI‐DLO) is in the process of developing a simplified cost/benefit model.
