Abstract

Introduction: Patients with hepatitis C virus (HCV)-related cirrhosis witha a sustained virological response (SVR) to direct-acting antivirals (DAA) remain at risk of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Recently, serum protein induced by vitamin k absence or antagonist-II (PIVKA-II) showed promising results as HCC predictive biomarker.
