Abstract

Classroom teachers - from basic, secondary, collegiate to graduate levels - are not only authorized, but are capable of improving processes and products necessary for the delivery of their instruction. This study aimed to develop and validate through pilot-testing a criterion-referenced test in qualitative research for 11th graders through series of revisions based on readability index, index of difficulty, and index of discrimination. Findings revealed convincing evidence that the summative test final draft could be adopted for use by target end users in Senior High Schools. Recommendations include several other tests to measure its response to gender-sensitive language and distracter analysis.
