Abstract

In the Internet of Things (IoT) context a gateway translates the IoT protocols (Bluetooth, Zegbee, LoRa, Sigfox, etc) to Internet. Basically an IoT Gateway connects things to the platform. As a matter of fact, in 2016 the ABI Research company made a benchmarking study and as a result, it prospected IoT gateways sales by 64 millions of units in 2021. However, the LoRa IoT Gateway in most of cases is expensive, and as a consequence its deployment in the industry is difficult. T his p aper proposes a solution to this scenario, it explains the development of IoT Gateway that aims to connect LoRA End Nodes to the IoT open source platform Cloudino through a dicctionary protocol. As a result, data collection could be successfully performed between a wireless network of connected terminal devices and the Cloudino Server.
