Abstract

The possibility of obtaining thermostable ceramic collar rings based on corundum, aluminum titanate, and mullite synthesized by melting in the Big Solar Furnace is studied. Preliminary conclusions on optimal material composition are made based on studies of the sinterability, thermostability, and creep resistance of the experimental ceramic ring samples. Prospects for using the ceramic based on aluminum titanate and mullite are revealed as a result of preliminary production tests at the joint stock company ONIKS.
