Abstract

Objective To develop the Patient's Advance Care Planning Acceptance Questionnaire (ACPQ) , so as to provide an assessment tool for the identification of patients' acceptance of advance care planning. Methods The initial questionnaire was developed by literature research and the expert panel discussion. The formal questionnaire was established by Delphi method. The questionnaire survey was conducted on patients admitted to Fenyang Hospital in Shanxi Province from April to July in 2017 for the reliability and validity test of the questionnaire. Results Totally 22 experts participated in two rounds of expert consultation, and the authority coefficient (Cr) was 0.83. The results of the second round showed that the degree of expert opinion concentration and coordination were significantly higher than those of the first round. The reliability Cronbach's α coefficient for each dimension of the questionnaire was 0.614, 0.941, 0.872 respectively, and the total Cronbach's α was 0.908. The scale-level CVI was 0.97, while the item-level CVI was 0.91-1.00. The final questionnaire contains three parts, a total of 19 entries. Conclusions The ACPQ has good reliability and validity, and it is suitable for the investigation of the acceptance of the patient 's Advance Care Planning.
