Abstract

Calmodulin (CaM) is the main intracellular Ca receptor in eukaryotic cells. Some aspects are now considered.— I. CaM antibodies as useful biological probes. II. Purification of CaM. III. Production of antibodies, polyclonal or monoclonal, to native CaM. IV. Development of a radioimmunoassay for CaM, and of a way to immunoprecipitate CaM from a complex mixture of cell proteins.
