Abstract

To develop the advanced manufacturing is the urgent needs of the economic globalization and improving the international competitiveness. Meanwhile, it is an inevitable choice to promote industrialization with information technology and the structural adjustment, optimization and upgrading of the traditional manufacture industry. The interconnection and interworking is the prerequisite to realize intelligent manufacturing, especially for the interconnection and correlation of cross-domain and multi-link applications. However, in the case of various heterogeneous identifiers coexisting, each application link becomes an information silo, furthermore, it can be predicted that different identification systems coexisting is normality in the long term. This chapter describes the core technology areas of advanced manufacturing. For example, supply chain management of raw material, customization, networked cooperative, remote operation and maintenance, and so on. It is focused on establishing the heterogeneous compatible, multi-level, distributed and peer-to-peer interworking identification service system architecture so as to provide reference for various innovative models in the field of advanced manufacturing.
