Abstract

Due to its potential application in developing REBa 2Cu 3O 7− δ (REBCO, RE=rare earth elements) electronic devices and coated conductors, the liquid phase epitaxy (LPE) process has attracted much attention. Progresses have been made in achieving a high degree of crystallinity and high superconducting properties. In order to stably control the epitaxy growth to gain the required properties of LPE thick films, many efforts have been made to overcome problems. In this paper, recent progresses in this field have been reviewed.
