Abstract

We propose a system for supporting agricultural work evaluations using environmental data to promote reflection after practical training at an agricultural high school. This system enables students to extract work records that must be accumulated for each task and passed on to students as empirical rules the following year for utilization as learning materials. The system can thus be expected to encourage deeper learning, while also improving crop yield and quality, because students can grasp the knowledge and techniques necessary for farm tasks and to adopt measures for the future. This paper outlines the system and reports the results of its use to record farm tasks, a system function students apply in their practice at an agricultural high school.
