Abstract

Battelle's methodology for development of the 1980 energy efficiency-improvement target for SIC 32 is presented for consideration and approval by the Federal Energy Administration (FEA). Battelle's overall methodology is summarized as a network chart showing the various milestones and project activities. The methodology generally consists of the collection and analysis of technical and economic information necessary to establish a draft target for SIC 32 and to prepare the draft target-support document to FEA. Battelle will support FEA in the preparation for and conduct of public hearings on the energy targets. Finally, a review of written and oral statements will be made with FEA and, following receipt of written guidance from FEA, a final target-support document will be prepared.
