Abstract

This chapter describes the development of Multi-PRS for four Indian languages. Detailed description on multilingual speech corpora and experimental setup is provided. The development and evaluation of Multi-PRS is presented. The results of Multi-PRSs and Mono-PRSs are compared and analysed with respect to Dravidian and Indo-Aryan language families. The performance improvement of Multi-PRS using tandem phone posterior features is also discussed.
