Abstract

Environment-friendly policies have developed the awareness to protect the environment from hazardous effects. ISO 9000 certification, legal laws and public demands enhance the green corporate social responsibilities. Organizational traditional processes changed into green concepts. A dramatic shift from supplier selection to green supplier selection has been adopted in organizations to reduce the product impact on environment. Supplier selection is the most important organizational strategic decision to design, produce and distribute green. This paper is focused to develop the criteria for green supplier selection. This decision is based on both quantitative and qualitative methods. So, Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) has been used to take the rational decisions. In this study, a hybrid multi criteria decision making approach based on Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory Model (DEMATEL), the Analytical Network Process (ANP), and Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) in fuzzy environment have been used to take the ideal decisions. This study will focus on the development of hybrid MCDM model for green supplier selection.
