Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit the nation at the beginning of 2019 caused a shift in the learning process. The use of efficient learning media is deemed necessary in developing children's abilities. One of the media in question is media puzzle tangram. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using puzzle media on the ability to recognize geometric shapes and colors in early childhood at TK.KB Kumala Wonomulyo with a population of 35 people. Research Data collection was carried out using observation guidelines and an assessment rubric. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis of research data indicate that the puzzle media is effective in the development of the ability to recognize geometric shapes in early childhood in TK.KB. Kumala Wonomulyo.
