Abstract
The establishment and development of border gate economic zones (KTCK) is not only an important driving force for border gate and local economic development in the border areas but also contributes to the national economic development. From the point of view, development of the border gate economic zone does not mean a rapid increase in the number of economic zones, but the development and improvement of the quality of economic activities in the border gate economic zones. This paper analyzes the conditions and content of the border gate economic zone development, as well as showing the models of border gate economic zone that can be applied , thereby, suggesting solutions to promote the development and improvement of economic activities of Vietnam's border gate economic zones in the coming time.
