Developing a reliable and cost-effective follow-up programme after a short-term head and neck reconstructive mission in Ethiopia: a pilot study

Abstract

Introduction: Patient follow-up after reconstructive missions in Africa has traditionally been poor due to financial restrictions, limited communication with patients and remote geography. This study aims to establish if smart phones could be used for patient follow-up after an annual head and neck mission in Ethiopia.
