Abstract

The paper aims to study the perception of a campus stakeholders on environmental issues in the concept of green campus. It is also to provide insightful information for the initiator to better promote green campus activities. By understanding the stakeholders’ perceptions, it is expected that a campaign to promote a green campus will be more effective. Qualitative research was conducted for this study. The data was collected using a survey with open-ended questions to 108 respondents. Their qualitative responses were analyzed by carrying out content analysis. The findings show a basic level of awareness and knowledge of green campus activities. There are also some major concepts stated and pointed out by the respondents that provide insightful information and recommendation. It is also found some opportunities for more ideas to be explored for campaigning the concept of a green campus.
