Abstract

The book is aimed at all healthcare staff who have contact with patients including (and particularly) those working in administrative roles. The book takes the reader through a journey relating to different aspects of interpersonal skills from basic theoretical perspectives written in nononsense language to ‘points to ponder’ that provide the active reader with pertinent reflective exercises. Other activities invite the reader to try out new behaviours. These combine to offer a basic holistic approach to considering interpersonal skills in action.
