Abstract

Peculiarities in applying Cherenkov counters with a liquid radiator are discussed for the case of heavy loading conditions in a bunched beam (bunch duration − 30 ns). The design of the counter radiator, of the radiator dispersion compensator and general layout of the detector are presented. The measurement technique in the beam is described. The main results obtained in the separated particle beam in the bubble chamber experiment from the measurements of 12 GeV c deuterons and antideuterons are presented.
