Abstract
Deuterium and nitrogen quadrupole coupling data on phenylphosphonic acid (PPA) and two ternary cocrystals of PPA with catechol and pyridine are reported. These data are discussed in terms of the crystal structures and the hydrogen bonding present. Deuterium sites which are not located in the structure determination by X-ray diffraction may be assigned from the NQR data.
