Abstract

Detroit Water Experience With Unidirectional GatewaysEarly in 2011, Detroit Water deployed Waterfall's Unidirectional Security Gateways to increase network security protections for their operations network. The switch to gateways and away from managed firewalls paid off within the year. The switch supports both new and long-standing information-sharing initiatives, which yield significant cost savings and performance improvements.Author(s)Biren SapariaAndrew GinterSourceProceedings of the Water Environment FederationDocument typeConference PaperPublisherWater Environment FederationPrint publication date Sep, 2012ISSN1938-6478DOI10.2175/193864712811709553Volume / Issue2012 / 10Content sourceWEFTECCopyright2012Word count56
