Deterministic Inventory model for deteriorating items with Ramp-type demand in inflationary environment

Abstract

In this paper, an inventory model is constructed for deteriorating items with ramp type demand rate, that is the demand rate is a piecewise exponential function under the factor of inflation. The solution of this objective is determining the optimal time in order to minimize the total cost. Finally, results are illustrated and supported by numerical examples and in the end, sensitivity analysis is performed.
