Abstract

Determination of Cartesian coordinates of building can be performed using various surveying methods. One of these methods is real-time measurement in RTN GNSS mode. Therefore, tests were carried out that led to surveying contractors being presented with an alternative of using RTN GNSS surveys to determine the location of a building with high reliability and accuracy. This solution involves the harmonisation of various surveying methods hereinafter referred to as the HMM algorithm. After using the HMM algorithm, linear deviations dL were obtained for the determined X, Y coordinates at the level of 0.03 m and the mean location errors of the corners of the building at the level of 0.02 m, which were not significantly different from the reference values. Test tests and their verification allowed to state that the HMM algorithm was very useful for determining the location of a building structure in real time.
