Abstract

In recent years, due to the steadily crept of implementaton of energy and resource saving technics and technologies as well machines in agricultural branch, the utilising of ploughs in the main tillage (ploughing) in the form of spherical disks, ie the working body. In this article we present the results of experiments and research to substantiate the distance from top to bottom side H1 of support disc of disc plough to the bottom side mounting area of the suspension device and the diameter of the support disc of the plough. This means that the distance from the support disc to the lower mounting points of the suspension device should be in the range of 650-700 mm to ensure that the disc plough is well immersed in the ground and the driving depth is stable and the required transport clearance is maintained. Diameter of the support disc should be in the range 500-550 mm, so that the width of coverage is stable.
