Abstract

A procedure was developed for determining water-soluble vitamins B and vitamin C in premixes, biologically active supplements, and combined feed by reversed-phase HPLC using sodium heptanesulfonate as an ion-pair reagent. A procedure was proposed for purifying a combined food extract by solid-phase extraction on a column packed with a Sep-Pak C18 adsorbent. The stability of ascorbic acid and riboflavin in aqueous solutions with different pH values was studied.
