Abstract
Objective To make clear relationship between the occurrence and development of vitreous vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and osteonectin (ON) content changes associated with diabetic retinopathy through detection of intravitreal anti VEGF in proliferative diabetic retinopathy patients and normal control group of vitreous humor VEGF and ON content, and to explore the value of estimating the risk and prognosis of diabetic retinopathy. Methods Clinical diagnosis was collected in 15 patients with proliferative vitreous retinopathy, and the experimental group received vitreum injection of 0.08ml anti VEGF drugs (Conbercept), 0.02ml vitreous humor was collected after 1 week. Clinical diagnosis of idiopathic macular hole was collected in 15 patients, as a control group, 0.02ml vitreous humor was collected. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the content of VEGF and ON. Results The average content of VEGF was (197.16±111.38) pg/ml in the vitreous humor of the PDR group, in normal control group, the content of VEGF in vitreum was (69.33±36.78) pg/ml; In the PDR group, the ON concentration was 310.80±145.05) ng/ml, and the ON concentration in the MH group was (157.93±105.76) ng/ml. Conclusions The content of VEGF and ON in the vitreous humor of PDR patients after vitreum injection of anti VEGF drugs is still higher than that of the control group, which play a role in the pathological process of PDR.
