Abstract

A novel method is described for determination of metoclopramide (MCP) by second-derivative adsorptive anodic stripping voltammetry with a nafion-modified electrode. The stripping peak current is proportional to the concentration of MCP over the range 1.2×10 −9–4.6×10 −7 M. The detection limit is 8.0×10 −11 M with 4-min accumulation. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of MCP in human serum.
