Abstract

Trace element concentrations in the range >10μg/g in biological samples (milk powder, potato powder, maize, plant ash etc.) are determined by energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence. Standards on the basis of wheat flour are used. Deviations from results obtained by other methods are 100μg/g and <-10% for concentrations between 20 and 100μg/g.
