Abstract
The concentration of 12 trace elements in the chewing tobacco and two different brands of Libyan cigarette “Atlas” and “Sport” has been measured by instrumental neutron activation analysis and compared to the results of cigarette tobacco from India, USA, Iran and Yugoslavia. These elements are Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hf, Mn, Rb, Sc, Th, U, V and Zn.
