Abstract

This paper discusses the nebulization and electrothermal atomization, after dilution with acetone, of the organic solutions resulting from treatment of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The method is applied to determine tin in a real PVC sample. The interferences which can be produced by the reagents used in the sample attack, by the PVC resin, and by other metals in the sample are studied.
