Abstract

It is difficult to measure with accuracy the thickness of thin liquid films deposited on highly curved surfaces. We show how the incorporation of spin labels in the liquid can provide with a simple way for measuring such thicknesses and we present a simple illustration of this method by studying and discussing the drainage of capillary tubes.
