Abstract
As far as we know, there is no branch of industry where two-phase systems are not used. This is the chemical, thermal, physical and finally the oil industry. The process of studying two-phase systems is a branch of hydromechanics and reflects great scientific research works in recent times In the work under review, the main characteristics of the water-oil mixture were studied and the main hydromechanical indicators of this system were determined. The results of the conducted researches were applied in deep pump installations. The formation of these mixtures affects the operation of the submersible pump to some extent Keywords: oil, reservoir water, rods, pump working process, valves, pump cylinder.
