Abstract
The determination of the forward scattering amplitude from the knowledge of the differential cross section on a deuterium target at zero degrees, using modulus-phase dispersion relations, is attempted for the processe γn → π −p. Knowing this and the γp → π +n amplitude, the separation of the iso-scalar and isovector components is possible. In this paper numerical values for these components are given in the resonance region.
