Abstract
The results of an investigation of grade 12X18H9 and 12X18H9T austenite steels are given. Their crystalline structures, elemental compositions, Curie temperatures in a 0.86 T field, and specific magnetization in the temperature range 80 ≤ T ≤ 1100 K are determined. It is found that the basic ferromagnetic phase is FeNi. The possibility for measuring the ferromagnetic phase content using the magnetodynamic method is shown and its resolution is determined.
