Abstract

1. The kinetics of trimethylcarbinol dehydration on manganous oxide were studied. The relative adsorption coefficients of water and isobutene and their temperature dependence were determined. The thermodynamic functions of the catalytically active surface were calculated. 2. The energies of the bonds of the reacting atoms of the organic molecule with the catalyst surface were determined by a kinetic method.
