Abstract

To measure the critical wavelength ( λ c) of synchrotron radiation (SR) from the bending magnet and superconducting (SC) “snake” of the Siberia-1 electron storage ring, use was made of a method based on the detection of the absorber-filtered-out short-wave part of the SR spectrum. The measured λ rmc parameters of the Siberia-1 SR source coincide within the error limits (≈2% with the design values.
