Abstract

Five barley fields in Genc, Adakli and Central district of Bingol province of Turkey were investigated for the presence of barley diseases in 2018. Spot form of net blotch caused by Drechslera teres f. maculata, net form of net blotch caused by Drechslera teres f. teres, scald caused by Rhynchosporium commune, powdery mildew caused by Erysiphe graminis f. sp. hordei, barley stripe caused by Drechslera graminea and covered smut caused by Ustilago hordei were found among the fields inspected. Prevalence and severity of these diseases showed variation.
