Abstract

In situ observation in a CVD reactor by Raman spectroscopy permits the identification of the gaseous species in the heated zone of a CVD reactor, the local measurement of temperature, and the local measurement of concentrations. In this paper, detailed methods are proposed for the determination of temperature and concentration by Raman scattering. Corresponding profiles, in a CVD reactor, are shown for boron fiber encapsulation.
