Abstract
Two methods of determination of stages of katagenesis are expounded: method of determination of degree of katagenesis of breeds and method of determination of paleotemperature of formation of mountain breeds. These methods can be applied for the sedimentary deposits not including organic matter. The process of formation of sandstone on the stage of diagenesis on the example of the geological monument Kamyana Mohyla is described
