Abstract

Double exposure interferometry is well known to determine mechanical parameters in deformation analysis. Normally it is not possible to determine both, slope and curvature, in the same experiment. We propose a method to determine slope and curvature of object deformation recorded simultaneously on two holographic plates. Between the two exposures, one of the holographic plates is moved along its surface, and the curvature of the deformed object is obtained. The slope and curvature of a clamped square plate on which a concentrated force is applied at the center is mesaured as an example to illustrate the capability of this method.
