Abstract

In this paper we study the errors involved in the determination of the sizes and concentration ratio in a binary solution of spherical and rodlike particles. This information is obtained by measuring the normalized second-order factorial moment of the laser light scattered by the particles. The results can be applied to the study of polydisperse bimodal solutions of spherical and rodlike particles.
